Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I am experiencing symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and/or need to be tested for COVID-19? Can you help me?

A: Yes, we can help you. Please follow these instructions:

Give us a call at 396-9893 to let us know that you are coming and again when you arrive in the clinic parking lot.

We will then give you instructions regarding where to park.

A member of the clinical staff will come to your car to administer the test for COVID-19. We will also assess your condition without having you come into the clinic.

Q: Is it safe to come to the clinic during this COVID-19 crisis?

A: We are doing our best to keep those who are at risk of having the COVID-19 virus away from the rest of our patient population by testing them in their cars. However, there is no way of knowing who has been exposed to the Corona Virus. This is why we have started offering Telemedicine visits. You can have a scheduled "Office Visit" without ever having to come to the clinic. You will speak directy with our practitioner and receive one-on-one help. The charge to you and/or your insurance carrier will be the same as if you were seen in the clinic.

Q: Do I need to have an appointment in order to be seen?

A: Yes. Same Day Appointments are generally available. Simply call our office number (396-9893) and we will set you up with an appointment time.

Q: What happens if I need to reschedule an appointment?

A: We understand that appointments sometimes need to be changed or even cancelled. We simply ask that you call us at least 24 hours BEFORE your scheduled appointment.

Q: Did The Kennedy Clinic move? I drove by the location on Apison Pike and noticed that it is now a 24 Workout gym.

A: Yes, we did move. Our new location is 4957 Swinyar Dr., Suite 109 in Ooltewah. We are in the white medical complex behind First Horizon bank, across from the Collegedale Police Department. We are situated between two dentists: Dr. Otis and Dr. Campbell.

Q: How long has The Kennedy Clinic been in business?

A: The Kennedy Clinic has been in business serving the greater Collegedale/Ooltewah area since 2006.
